Commenting on a news snippet posted by Channel News Asia, an Indian FT has made numerous insulting comments about Singaporeans.
The original news snippet was about the supply cut in maids from the phillippines and the indian FT, Raja Chandrasekran, made the following comments:
"Raja Chandrasekaran: Its only the Singaporean who fools the government and MOM. For EP, Spass or work permit in all foreign recruitment, the employer or the company put salary $4500 in the Application papers but only gives $1000 salary to the employees Morever they fool the goverment & MOM in a bigger way with shows General Manager in the Pass but actually works as a Waiter. Total fraud and scam by Singaporean. How you all deal this scam & take action fellow Singaporean. Even major MNC like Marina Bay Sands, KFC, Keppels, YMCA, Raffles Hospitals, etc hire foreigners. You Singaporean in construction field cant work from morning 5am to 12am. You Singaporean cant work in 24 hours McDonalds, you Singaporean cant work at junior level as a waiter, i bet you will leave, run & resign in 1 week. You Singaporean cant even wake up to show some love to ur kids when they go to school which the Foreign Maid do. YOU SINGAPOREAN ARE GOOD BUT FOR NOTHING !!"

His comment had gained over 90 'likes' on facebook and many Singaporeans have complained that most of those 'liking' his status are also foreigners.
His comments were quickly picked up by netizens and people have started to show their disapproval.
