I am not a kaypoh, neither do I enjoy writing.
Because it is difficult for me, and it takes me really long to think of the vocab and edit the grammers.
However looking at the faces of the vulnerable shopkeeper, whom business is obviously being affected, due to the greed of SMRT.
I know I had to do something.
Because at some point in my life, I guess that lady had subsidise my education through paying her taxes.
I am going to say it bluntly that SMRT is either very greedy or very very greedy.
Because all that matters for them is the importance of collecting rental for profit.
I wondered have the responsible person of renting out a space for a third mama shops ever uses his/her Buttock to think for the affected before doing so.

Having a third mama shop, would meant that one shop would face the problem.
when profits no longer is able to pay off the rental
savings no longer able to fund the business that is losing money.
when profits no longer is able to pay off the rental
savings no longer able to fund the business that is losing money.
and that is a business being forced to fold up due to the authority and greed of SMRT that dictate the business future.
I know there used to be 2 "mama" shops already in the interchange, and the business should be just equal for both. able to make it a day.
Now SMRT adds one more, and all three are at such a close distance.
I was like WTF with WOT, loses hope for SMRT and Singapore.
I KNOW, I KNOW. the fittest and strongest survive, but how innovative, competitive could the shopkeepers be.
when all they sell is items that earn them a few cents each.
How cheaper could they go, when going cheap now could probably kick another player out..
But when another new player came in going cheaper, could kick them out?
I really hope that SMRT could go back to the fundamental in focusing on providing good transports.
But I also hope that they could focus on not to destroy someone else business by aggressively maximising its profit from rental.
Singaporeans in many ways are being affected by the high rental fee.
Hawkers could not increase their prices, fearing of losing competitive edge against fellow Hawkers.
Despite increasing rental fee.
Many SMEs are experiencing similar problems when rental fee increases, while not able to increase their prices. They had to either stagnate Singaporeans' salary or employ cheaper foreigners.
This cycle eventually does not benefit Singaporeans.
when Singaporeans are not willing to pay for more expensive food was due to their salary stagnation.
I wondered how could Singaporeans expect a better living conditions or at least a change when even our SMRT, uses such actions to be profitable.
With the new SMRT chairman, Mr Kuek. I am looking forward for positive changes both on the trains and bus services without endangering the businesses of the SMEs within their premises.

Despite feedback to SMRT, no response or comment could be received even several months later.
