I am anticipating another round of fixing your opponents in Parliament should this haze issue be politicised, the same way as the hawker issue.
Incidentally, my favourite movie is William Friedkin's The Exorcist. At that time, I remember watching the film fascinated over the demon, Pazuzu who can be sometimes kind-hearted to the priest but when the priest lets his guard down, Pazuzu will mix lies with the truth to attack him.
I once encountered a female divorcee boss who also behaved like Pazuzu and she applied all Sun Tzu Art of War practices and methodology to inflict terror on her male subordinates.
Below are 5 examples
1) Show double standards to your allies and foes separately.
Pazuzu, being a divorcee, hates all her male subordinates and favours female subordinates.
She had this monthly appraisal where she will rate and rank her female subordinates very high marks while she gives her male subordinates very low low marks.
But yet, she still needs males help to carry stores and logistics for fund-raising events. She also relies on a male system analyst to do server maintenance as she is an IT-idiot.

2) Have a system to magnify your opponents wrong-doings and blow it wide open.
Speaking of monthly appraisal, Pazuzu had this appraisal in which she will write nothing good about her male subordinates.
Her assessment will have all the negative but trival remarks such as "Sneezing and coughing too loudly in the room at 1400hrs" and "Dragging your feet too loudly in the morning" and "Late for 10 minutes on 4 July 2010" etc and then would force the male subordinates to write down the remedy actions and sign against them.

3) Always implant your spies and install gadgets to monitor your opponents.
Pazuzu would install CCTVs in every corner of the room to monitor our movements. There are some blind spots in which she was not able to see and she would install them and watch them at her computer terminal.
She also had the ability to remotely access the CCTV at home if she were to be on MC or on leave.
In addition, her female subordinates would pledge loyalty to her maybe perhaps they are ladies so they feel a sense of obligation to report to her.

4) Always shift your goalpost to make sure your opponents do not score a goal.
I was tasked to buy some decorations to decorate the office for the Deepavali occasion. Pazuzu did not mention what are some of the things I cannot buy.
For some strange reason, I suspected she had a phobia of peacock. According to Hindu tradition, peacock feathers ward off evil but she could have mistaken the feathers as ghost eyes etc and refused to reimburse me the $5 I spent to buy the feathers and said that the peacock feathers look like joss sticks.

5) Always have a Fatherly Figure to Protect You If You Do Unpopular Activities
Pazuzu had an Executive Director who favoured her wrongdoings. Once she suspected someone was badmouthing her.
She went to the server room and read a few emails exchanges between 2 other colleagues that badmouthed her. Furious, she confronted the two person who circulated the email and wanted to know why she was being bad-mouthed. The person was also furious for reading their emails without authorisation and circulated the email to more than 20 staff.
Humiliated and caught in the act, Pazuzu cried to the Executive Director and wanted to quit but her tears melted his heart. Instead of sacking her for reading other people's emails, he saying her and even sent her a poster, telling her not to quit and hung it on her cubicle.

6) Ask for Forgiveness to Let Your Enemies Guard Down But Show Your True Colors Later
Pazuzu sometimes have this vulnerable side of her when she wants sympathy from her male subordinates. As she is insecure, she sometimes will tell stories to inspire sympathy and hoping that some of us will pity her.
Once she had a fall-out with me and used the word "Fuck You" even though she is a Christian. She later told me, regretfully, that she is having a lot of trouble coping being a lady boss and a single mother at the same time and to forgive her for using the word "Fuck" on me.
When I told her that it is ok and that sometimes, it is ok not to be too serious about your work and learn to accept mistakes, she turn the tables on me and subsequently wrote in her monthly appraisal that "I am not serious about my work" and forced me to sign it.
Example: PM Lee asking for forgiveness in GE2011 and HDB Always Asking people to Take Pity as it is losing money.
