PM Lee was interviews on channel 8 talk show tonight on the following issues:-

(1) His performance – He claimed that the lives of Singaporeans have improved during the last 10 years or so under his leadership.

Truth: As professor Lim Chong Yah has shown the wages of workers including those of middle income groups have been suppressed to be among the lowest as compared with the comparable economies like Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan etc. Recently Dr. Tommy Koh has pointed out that about 30% of school students do not have enough pocket monies to spend on meal.

(2) High cost of living and housing – He defended against the complaint by people on this matter by saying that by comparison with the earlier period, citizens were also experiencing high costs but they were hardly any complaints. He added that many people in Hong Kong and Taiwan could not even afford to buy their own houses.

Truth: Lands were acquired at compulsory acquisition cost of as low as S$1.00 psf in most cases but were auctioned at developers’ land sales at hundreds psf. Billions of profits were made on such lands by Singapore Land Authority per year on such land sale which were not disclosed when minister Khaw claimed that HDB flats were subsidised by up to S$1.3 billions for 2013. Not to mention the profiteering on COE, ERP, foreign workers’ levies and billions made by privatization of public utility companies and double charging on asset amortization all over by the SPL etc. Not to mention the extra fees and fares increases by all the GLCs using laws and monopoly power to do so at the expense of the citizens.

(3) Possibility of finding people of talent to serve as MPs and his successor – He considered that it is difficult to find people of capability to serve as MPs but he blamed it on the burden faced by politicians having to expose families to public scrutiny etc.

Truth: With pappies ruling the country, with clamp-down on freedom and rights of citizens worsen by use of ISA to eliminate potential leaders and suing of people for criticisms against wrongful policies of the ruling pappies, the pappies should bear full responsibility for our current dearth of able people to run for election. Just look at recent attack by CCS on CSJ and his defamation suit against Roy and charging of ordinary citizens speaking at Hong Lim park for public nuisance it should be clear enough that pappies are using laws and all the underhand tactics causing a dearth of good people to come forward to serve. It is a lie to blame the dearth of good people to serve as attributable to shyness to public scrutiny. As for potential successor, he was not certain up to now whether he has found a potential successor. This shows that he has failed to groom a person of potential even up to this stage to be his successor. He seems totally unprepared to honour his promise to find one.

(4) 6.9 million population – He defend this white paper which was pushed through parliament and passed by all pap MPs by saying that it is not a target but merely a reference benchmark for construction of facilities.

Truth: The additional 1.5 – 2 million new citizens have already caused the MRT trains’ constant disruptions for quite some years now without the vision of pappies to prepare the necessary facility to meet such population increases for the ulterior purpose of entrenching pappies in power. Not to mention the suppression of citizens’ wages and losses of hundreds of thousands of jobs to foreign fakes many of whom are unable to adapt to our culture as seen by recent incidents of Pinoys threatening to kill Singaporeans,

(5) Pioneer Generation package – he was happy that the PGP was well received by citizens.

Truth : He conveniently forgot to mention that most citizens are unhappy with pappies’ breaking of promise to return their own retirement savings to them at 55 to meet subsistence needs as many of them are without cash savings due to the system of sucking them dry of monies through public housing and COE/ERP and unstable job markets due to opening of foreign floodgate to serve pappies’ own political agenda to entrench in power at their expense.
