Security officers deserve your respect too!

Dear TRS,

I would wish to share and spread this message regarding security industry and the public. I personally find that the public do not respect and take security personnel seriously and even go the the extends to verbally abuses for these group of hard working people (security officers).

In fact the public do not realised that the security officer on the ground do carry the same civil rights as they do, if we really want to carry on to the next level of melting out any verbal or physical abuse inflicted by any member of the public, by settlement at the Singapore court of law.

I don't deny that there's black sheep in our security industry and in fact there's black sheep found in every industries. That doesn't means that all security are low life in the society. We worked hard and paid the price of not able to spend much time with our family for our job. Same like cleaner and other service industry. To make this society are safe and orderly.

Where not many people are willing to work. Also don't think we are lowly educated people and there are no other job for us to work, it's our passion and beliefs that many of us took up this career.

Some of us are former special forces like commando, police tasks force, Minister body guard and even retirees from civil servant.
