If only more citizens know about social media

You think you can think, but do remember who actually runs this country.

We are not into politics. We are not associated with any party. WE ARE CITIZENS.

The whole problem with this world is because of corporate involvement, where they the rich pour their minimal resources into a country to gain maximum profits.

Whether it is cheap labour exploitations or modern day slavery, they the corporate investors will exploit it to their maximum gain and profits.

The very government who had invited them to do so and did not ever care about the taxpaying citizens are equally a corporate government too.

The very people whom you voted to govern are the biggest culprit, because they too do not give a damn about the well-being of its own citizens. They are only concerned about growing the GDP for their own monetary gains – remember, more GDP growth means more bonuses for themselves. You tell me if UK PM or President Obama operate this way?

That is the corporate governing world we live in. We live to help service their cheap investments, their extravagant lifestyles (it was reported not long ago that even a CEO of a statutory board can afford to buy a $10 million condominium!) and their cronies. These bunch of fellas are doing right under your noses, without you ever realise it.

The many media the government owned and controlled will always give you doses of heroin every day. Having addicted, you easily get brained washed.

If only more citizens know there is another media called social media. There are many excellent writers, contributors, “reporters” etc among our midst. These citizen “reporters” may not necessary be professionally trained like the government controlled ones but they do their jobs. They deliver the truth. Who released the news that AIM is a $2 company? Who released the news that Aljunied hawker association leaders are actually a bunch of PAP branch leaders also? The government controlled media? My foot!

Today, they the corporate government is clamping down on social media, not because the social media contributors are terrorists, insane, liars or making unfounded comments but because they have become a thorn to our corporate government. They are simply expressing their true inner feelings and their concerns. Our corporate government don’t want other citizens to listen to them. And worse, they don’t want citizens to know about even more $2 companies hiding in their closet. They don’t want citizens to know about many of their PAP grassroots having “excellent” business ties with our corporate government.

Is this DEMOCRACY then?

The greed will never stop and they will keep churning garbage to instill fear, trials and tribulations to the citizens. They are still very much using the old LKY’s fear method to try to govern, to “scare” people into voting for PAP, hoping that PAP will rule forever.

The word “Democracy” may never be in their dictionary but this word lies in the hearts of everyone of us. You can make a difference. You do not need to fear. Social media can help you get out of the “heroin addiction” of the government controlled media.

Read the social media so that you can hear the other side of the story. It will help you to be more enlightened. You will be more informed to make the right decision when 2016 election arrives!

Viva Singapore!
