Many people said that foreigners are more hardworking than Singaporeans. As a Singaporean I can say that’s true, but do you know why?
My company has a lot of foreigners especially pinoys. I talked to them. Obviously they are very motivated to work. Because when they think of the land they can buy, the kind of houses they can build, the kind of business they can set up or invest, to be frank, yes they are very motivated to work.
One pinoy in my company just bought land and is building his house, he even took 2 weeks’ leave to go back to check on the progress.
For Singaporeans leh, we slog our whole life we also cannot achieve what these foreigners can achieve when they go back. People work they expect to see pay off, this is a modern era already, dun come and talk cock say what hardworking all these.
Mr Han, if the current salary you are taking now isn’t even enough to sustain your family expenses and your own expenses would you want to continue working? You work here because the pay is high am I right? Same for us as well.
We are normal human beings too, we want to have a house and a car. We have goals and ambitions too, but f**king hell wages here is so little. We work whole life maybe can’t even afford the car you are driving now.
