1) BTO subscription is going down slowly due to prices increasing as mentioned by Alex Tan. A basic demand-supply analysis will suffice as explanation. Your claim that "no government in the world is that fast except when dealing with social unrest" is a mere generalization. Unless you can provide evidence that there is reasons for all governments in the world to not be fast when it comes to matters apart from social unrest, then your claim is flawed and exposes your lack of mental faculties.
2) SMRT is privatized - at least you are able to comprehend this. However by virtue of the fact that it is a private firm running a public service, there is substantial grounds for the government to intervene to ensure that the demands of the public are met. Such demands include the buses reaching their destinations on time and having enough room so that the passengers are even able to board the bus. Your lack of understanding towards this issue shows that you clearly do not take public transport, yet you speak of the issue as though you know the ground situation clearly. Again, do provide evidence that the government's attitude is as you described. An analogy of your description of the government's attitude is an investor who invests money without bothering how the money is being spent.
3) There is due distinction between economic migrants who have stuck with Singapore from when it was undeveloped, and those who came today because Singapore is now developed and they are just enticed by the prospects of better income. Being an educated person doesn't merely involve possessing academic abilities, there are other factors such as morality and ethics in the equation which you clearly lack and hence I cannot call you an educated person. Judging by how crude you were in your description of something you aren't even certain about, I guess barbarian is an apt noun for you.
4) There are currently 2 million foreigners in Singapore, only 0.5 million of them have chosen to convert to permanent residents. Do account for the remaining 1.5 million of them. The figure is too huge to be an oversight on your part, and it either shows you have not done your homework when typing the response, which reiterates my stand that you are exposing your lack of mental faculties, or you have conveniently chosen to omit that to present your response in a better spotlight which would prove you are indeed barbaric.
A recent survey also shows that Singaporeans have one of the highest racial tolerances in the world. There is also a significant difference between feeling threatened by foreigners and being racist - feeling threatened by foreigners does not equate to a race issue, neither does it lead to a person being racist because of it. It stems from uneven opportunities being presented to both groups of populations. I am all for believing in meritocracy to maximize efficiency, however economic growth does not equate to standard of living and Singapore is not a company.
5) Stating something is not equivalent to doing something nor does it even come close to solving the problem. Judging by your description, I think it is quite obvious you have not taken a bus before - perhaps I would agree with you if you told Alex to choose when to stand instead and omitted the part on buckling up.
PS: Fair criticism is always welcome in any constructive debate, however what you had just done was to criticize Alex without even understanding the ground situation. It is obvious you are oblivious to many things. Perhaps you might want to visit an ophthalmologist to correct your vision so you might see things clearer. Might want to bring your child along, in case it is genetic and a horizontal gene transfer occurred - wouldn't want your child to grow up without any morality and ethics, would you?
PSS: You seem educated, but are you? You have done nothing other than show netizens your barbaric nature with all your crude descriptions and trying to flaunt your academic abilities by telling Alex to go back to school when it is clear what you preach is the most appropriate advice for you given how you keep exposing your lack of mental faculties. So please, walk to the window and jump down now. Please hope that there is reincarnation and pray that you be born as an ape, at least you would be guaranteed a higher intellectual level.
