This is my second attempt applying for a long term visit pass for my wife and consequently has been rejected with words that they have carefully evaluated the merits. Before I proceed I do not mind if you never give it to my spouse which I know as the the appended will bear light:
1. A hairdresser told me that she got it without any sponsor and she laughed and told me that an ICA officer told her that apart from Chinese none will get one as the government wants the majority to be Chinese and not accept requests from the minority races and reject them to maintain the status quo – wow as a hairdresser she seems to know much and I am inclined to believe her as she is only here for four years and got a PR and a five year long term pass for her sister who has unknown qualifications – do not bother to ask who and what but look at your ICA officers who blabber and I have seen it first hand at the counter who simply extend their stay without a word being exchanged whilst I have to endure half an hour waiting for them to simply extend . I have seen them to have their nourishment although at 0830 hrs to frustrate me and no greetings at all for but for PRC it is good morning sir/ madam – without a sponsor too at times but they get an extension – I have seen this many a times – “toilet” and their passes are extended – “same as before – no change in sponsor” – “yes” in mandarin – till no sign of the sponsor but this is acceptable and also at the reception counter – all the same. We Singaporeans are treated as second class as always – getting the third degree as we dared to marry foreigners.
2. My wife is a qualified care giver which Singapore needs as the population ages due to earlier polices but she apparently is not good enough to qualify for a long term pass but a hair dresser is to cut bald elderly citizens is and yet to add insult to injury as a PR she has brought her sister here and ICA has accorded her a five year long term pass to boot – qualifications not known.
3. ICA may think that I am too old to pro create and as such based on their back ward thinking reject my wife’s application. I find that insinuation repulsive and thwarted .
As such I find to pro create is a nightmare as far as ICA is concerned as the stress they build up does not allow it – perhaps it is psychological one to disallow us minorities to spawn as per para (1) and many of my friends have told me that most pros in Geylang have PRs or long term passes and majority are from PRC – how they got it – well only ICA can answer and because ICA use up the quotas and people like me with a bona fide marriage who wants to pro create is disadvantaged because of race and regulatory discretion s that have been discarded in favour of their beliefs or perhaps even policies handed down.
So whats the use of being a minority Singaporean who has served his NS and cannot apply for a long term pass for his spouse but a PR can get a five year one. As such revoke my citizenship for this government is based on racial quotas – I regret being a Singaporean when foreigners have more leeway and say. It is then a face saving effort when the government says we will help but here it clearly shows the discrepancy when races are opposed. So please send a letter revoking my status as a Singaporean and take all like always and make me stateless so that I can at least pro create without stress and racial quotas and my child will at least be deserving of the country – not here that is for sure for as a minority we are not welcomed but only tolerated for the sake of the world and investors .
I am not motivating racial dissent – that accolade goes to your ICA officers as per para (1) ( who spout for their own ulterior motives) and as such kindly send the forms to disown the home and family for racial quotas as ICA officers have so desired as I am not allowed to bring one to contribute to my home as the child will be amongst a minority race that ICA will frown upon – sorry that is not what a child deserves but your ICA officers beg to differ and will continue to harass my spouse and child so that racial quotas are met – my family will not be treated equally.
As per said – I wish to revoke my citizenship and I have wasted my time serving NS for an ungrateful lot – the truth always reveals itself. I also know I will never be contacted and the government will just revel in utter disbelieve and despair – what a joke when the truth is transparent – we Singaporeans are no longer welcome more so if you are a minority race.
Do not see this a begging exercise but rather an eye opener for you if only you choose to and come out from your closeted views and definitions of what is a true blue Singaporean – your choice.
