The AMP saga is indeed disturbing, firstly AMP should state who are the 2 ministers who contacted them with regards to Nizam, and second would AMP sack Nizam if he failed to resign and also would PAP stop funding AMP if Nizam refused to resign?
What would happen to all the recipients then, when PAP cuts off their funding, why is there a need to go down this road, what is PAP hoping to achieve?
Well firstly, the funds come from tax payers monies, and Nizam speaking at the speakers corner was not on behalf of any political party but for Singaporeans.
So here’s the deal, a while back LKY made some remarks in his book “Hard Truths” and then PM Lee said that he meant those statements in his own capacity and it was not the view of the PAP, so here’s the question, how is it Nizam has to quit AMP when he was speaking in his own capacity ?
Also why is the talented cartoonist being investigated for his cartoons, when compared to the statements made in the books “Hard Truths”, and talking about being partisan to politics, is AMP being partisan to PAP by telling Nizam not to participate his activities of interest from a Singaporean standpoint?
Also is the Peoples’ Association funded by tax payers monies but serves the PAP interests, how about having a minister in NTUC union, are these not considered partisan?
I hope Singaporeans can all come together on May 1st at Hong Lim Park to unite and show that we will say “ NO to 6.9 million” and to show that we are not daft or meek sheep that don’t know how to think for ourselves.
Singaporeans are intelligent and we do our own analysis and form our own conclusion on matters of the country, we don’t need to be told how to think.
What is worrying is the unwillingness of PAP to accept critical feedback which is vital for this countries development, does the PAP put its interest before its citizens?
PAP is not Singapore and Singapore is not PAP!
See you all at Hong Lim Square, the whole world is watching how Singaporeans unite!
Brothers and sisters, what we do in life, echoes in eternity!
See you soon!
