Singapore Police on Thursday had just arrested a 34-year-old man for making a false bomb threat on AsiaOne (SPH) news website.

Responding to queries from The Straits Times, the police said on Friday that the threat was posted as a comment in response to an article on the website relating to the recent Boston Marathon bombings.

A police report was made on Wednesday. It said a post on "an online news" website had made threats to bomb several locations in Singapore".

Following the report, officers from the Ang Mo Kio Police Division and the Technology Crime Investigation Branch of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) conducted extensive enquiries and investigations to track down the suspect.

It is not known if any action will be taken against SPH news website AsiaOne for the matter for it's role in not censoring and deleting their user's comment that threatened a terrorist bombing. However, it is unlikely that the state-controlled media will get into any trouble since they are not Independent like The Real Singapore.

Mistakes made by ordinary Singaporeans will be quickly dealt with, however, racist and dangerous remarks made by former PAP members will be brushed off easily. (Remember the PAP member that said that a bus full of Malay kids is a bus full of terrorist? Link). Are you sick of being an ordinary Singaporean and being shown a double standard? Are we really living in a democratic nation?
