The sky is raining very heavily now. Today, I am very certain that it is not crying over the passing of LKY. Rather, it is weeping at the grievances as felt by all local born Singaporeans.
Today, a great disservice had been done unto the hardworking people of this once great Nation. A Nation that had it's foundation built firmly on the belief that everyone of us, if we worked hard, the sky's the limit and there is nothing that we cannot achieve based on the merits of our hard work alone. Today, that belief had been shattered.
Today, a Government Stats Board has finally taken the first step towards destroying the very foundation of which our Nation had been built on, by standing up and defending a newly minted Citizen and employee with fake credentials. Today, the sky is indeed weeping. . .
And today, I finally understood why LKY was cremated instead of being buried, for many must have been truly afraid, that the great LKY would really rise from his grave the moment he sense something wrong happening here in Singapore...
