Years ago, I think it was in the 80′s Howe Yoon Chong recommended shifting withdrawal age from 55. It was pre-internet days but the public raised such a stench and it was close to GE that Pinky’s father had to “drop” the idea and I believe that it was OTC standing up to say that CPF was sacrosanct.
Attempts to change ground rules then did not go away. 3 decades later PAP achieve their goals after failing in 1980′s.
The point is we have to take whatever comes out from their mouths seriously and think of the long term implications. Read between the lines if you will. Once the seeds are planted, they may not get what they want immediately but they will creep towards the objectives.
This is a complete change in the culture, historical & contemporary philosophy of property relating to what is Private and what is State.
Now that the seeds are planted in the soil. Beware of how these seeds will be nurtured and allowed to germinate into a full grown jungle.

Turn this into advantage, not by calling them names but to spread the message in all languages and dialects that this is PAP’s future direction. Even the dumbest PRC, Nehs from India, Pinoys and those from Bolehland will think more than twice about getting PR status, let alone citizenship.
