I am truly amazed at the stupidity of Ng Eng Hen, the Minister for Defence. He had said the reason why Malays are not in the navy is due to the difficulty in providing halal food on board ships. It had taken them 5 decades to overcome the problem.
The Malays are both angry and amused. They are also having a good laugh at his 'goondooness'.
Halal canned good has been on the market shelves for decades. The navy should have checked with Yeo Hiap Seng and producers of 'Ayam' brand, for example.
Worst comes to the worst they could have just provided the Malay servicemen on board with fishing rods - end of the problem.
Malays have for centuries been seafarers and you don't hear them dying for lack of halal food.
Next this stupid minister will say that Malays are not in the airforce because they don't serve halal food in the F16 cockpit.
Betul punya bodoh! Nak tembakpun tak tahu tembak.
