Still the same holier than thou attitude from PAP. It's still "You cannot negotiate with us. Even if the law was made in 1973, we won't change it or review it just because of you".
PAP is going all out to silence discussion about the Thaipusam incident.
1) Discussion about the three Indian men was declared contempt of court even though MP Lam Pin Min already concluded that they are drunk without proof. Mainstream media also smeared the men as drunk and said one of them insulted Islam without proof.
2) The protest at Hong Lim park could not get the permit from the police. Over 1700 people (mostly indians) had intended to attend the protest.
3) Parliament focussed on attacking WP on the town council matter instead. No questions on the Thaipusam incident were asked.
4) Admin of the "Speak Up for Thaipusam" fb page received a call from an official.
5) Netizens told not to spread rumours about the incident.
