Cold Storage Bullying Incident Shows that Bosses are Hungry for Foreign Talents

I refer to the article: Local Singaporean Manager at Cold Storage Bullied by 7 Filipino Colleagues

This is a competitive world, every one from businessmen, politicians, managers to workers, all of us must compete for our share of food.

The writer himself already gave a good example: one Filipino woman came to Singapore on tourist visa looking for job and even willing to pay recruitment agency to get her a job.

What she did is not lawful but it also shows how determined and competitive she is in getting a good job. She is hungry, willing to take risk and strong will. In the end she succeeded and became a manager!

How many Singaporeans can be like her? I know many Singaporeans don’t like to hear this but it’s a fact that we Singaporeans are too pampered and too protected by a safe and stable environment! We lack that fighting spirit, that hunger to fight for our food!

I actually feel sad when I read what the author wrote here. A few junior staffs surrounding him without hurting him, and he called the police. This is shocking to me! Where is his leadership? Worst is he now comes out to tell the public the case and hurt his company’s reputation!

So, this means he let a small incident cause himself to be sacked! What is happening to our Singaporeans? It is very sad to see the quality of our Singaporean manager is so weak!

So, do you all now see why our companies prefer to hire foreign talents? The Singapore govt is aware of this problem otherwise MM Lee will not keep passing wicked comments of our Singaporeans.

Just take time to read the above or show it to any senior managers. Its obvious the author is not the right person for his job. Just see and count how many mistakes he made!
