Roy: Singaporeans need to learn to stand up for what's right

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

Over the past few weeks and months, I have been doing my best to research and bring to you what I have found out about our CPF and what exactly is happening to it.

I don't know if this has been useful and if it has helped you understand more. I write and share because if we are able to find out more about what is being done to our CPF, it will enable us to start thinking about what we need to do, in order to protect our CPF, our retirement funds and our money.

I am aware that more and more Singaporeans are awakening to the truth and will take the next important step to protect ourselves. But I am not sure what other Singaporeans might be thinking.

The truth is that, at the end of the day, the more we know, the better we are able to do what's right for ourselves, and our children and their children.

I worry though, are Singaporeans ready to embrace the truth or might it be too difficult for some of us to do so?

The truth is that this is not just about our CPF. Over the past few weeks, I have shown that this is deeply intertwined with the HDB, with our money, our savings, the banks etc. The money system in Singapore is deep-rooted and in order for us to regain our freedom, we need to weed it out. But how many of us know the deep-rootedness of it all, are ready to embrace this knowledge and then do what is right for ourselves?

In my affidavit which I have submitted (and which the mainstream media has chosen not to report on), I have shown how the government takes our CPF to invest in GIC but has denied doing so for the past 15 years. Our CPF is also invest in Temasek Holdings but Temasek has denied doing so.

I have also written about how the whole of GIC would most probably be made up of our CPF, and yet GIC takes our CPF to earn 6% while only giving Singaporeans 3% back, so much so that we are losing as much as half of what we should be earning on our CPF.

Today, GIC and Temasek Holdings are ranked the 8th and 10th richest sovereign wealth funds in the world while our CPF is one of the least adequate retirement funds in the world.

Something is not right in how our CPF is being managed and over the past few weeks, I have written extensively and showed you how.

At the end of the day, my fellow Singaporeans, it is up to us to stand up for ourselves and to fight for our own freedoms. At the end of the day, it's up to each and every one of us to stand up and speak up. Only then, will things change.

But I worry, are Singaporeans ready to embrace the truth or would we not yet be ready to admit to this knowing?

I have been doing what I can to share with you, and I hope soon, you will find the strength within you to also act on this knowing.

My first hearing for the defamation suit will be held next Thursday, 18 September at 10am. It will be a closed-door hearing to decide if my case will go straight for a summary judgment where the court will then only decide on the damages that I should pay, or if there will be an open trial.

I hope for the best. But at the end of the day, what matters is what Singaporeans know, what we will do for ourselves to help ourselves and how we can save our country.

For at the end of it all, things will change only when we take that step to do something for ourselves, so that together, we can be the change we wish to see.

All the best and good luck to ourselves.

Roy Ngerng
