The PAP announced and snake-oiled us that Singapore needed 7m population in order to survive because of the increase in the greying population. We shuddered and protested but it all went into deaf ears. Then suddenly our nightmare became even worse: the target was actually 10m! Suddenly they brought in their so-called professionals to try to convince us of the need for 7 million population, how much did they pay them to sell us this idea?
I did the research and found it shocking that their intentions may actually be dangerous. Here are the links, where studies had shown that huge populations lead to more violence.

By the Numbers: Is the UK really 5 times more violent than the US?
In the first place, are they really professional? If they are really professional, they should also mention that huge populations have their disadvantages. In that case are they really professional?
The saying goes:
“Money makes the bastard child legalized” – Talmud
In the 1970s, fearing the job competition and the burden of resources to cater for population growth, our former Prime Minister, LKY, enforced the “Two is Enough” policy, where possibly thousands of unborn babies didn’t see the light of day. Why the sudden about turn today? And the govt is becoming so aggressive in propagating the need for more foreigners ? The lure of money?
Again:
“Money makes the bastard child legalized” - Talmud
With the surge in population, GIC and Temasek has become aggressive. They are aggressively buying overseas and local assets and equities. What is the motive than? Benefit for us or benefit for them? As a huge population leads to more money into the government coffers: levies, taxes, CPF and the government-owned telcos. So is the huge population for their selfish gain than? They tend to forgot why they are in office. Do they really care that we are struggling for our daily needs?
Read the papers; everyday we are hearing about crimes being committed. The Little India riot, the worse so far we have seen. Look at Little India on Sundays, every inch being occupied by people, packed like sardines, seas of foreign Indians.
Throw a small amount of meat at a pack of hungry wolves; the wolves ferociously and violently fighting among themselves for the small piece of meat. Is the government turning us into a pack of violent hungry wolves as jobs become more competitive, as we have to compete with the foreigners and thus our incomes are being reduced?
Both my brothers-in-law are lorry drivers and they used to enjoy monthly incomes of 3K each, now only $1,800. Why? Because there are too many foreign drivers, so everyday you can see the frustration on their faces. We are perhaps worse than other countries as the cost of living here keeps increasing and the property markets are being cornered by the rich, invited in by our Prime Minister, higher rentals resulting in higher food prices. Suddenly government releasing land for sales, developers and bankers make huge profits. Who are the developers? I leave the readers to guess.
For the pack of wolves, the cake becomes smaller, so what are they forced to do next? Yes, turn to crime: many become bookie runners, commandos for loan-sharks, or peddling illegal cigarettes. It does not stop here as for insurance agents and housing agents, as their business becomes tougher, they find illegal means to boost their business. Who is to blame? Us?
It is the fault of the greedy government that some of us may lose our loved ones, as they spend time in prison. MPs and ministers living in their haciendas with Gurkhas or police guarding their homes. Who are they afraid of? The huge and violent population growth? Or they know day by day we are getting aggressive as we get poorer?
Various studies had shown that the increase in population will lead to violence and more crimes will be committed. Why are they ignoring these facts?
