I came across this screenshot of a friend who told us that Sheng Shiong uses the same chopping board and knife to cut both Pork meat and Fish meat.
I am not sure about the practices of muslims but isn't this not halal?
I hope the muslim readers can enlighten me also so that we can know your religion and practices better too.
I am a Chinese so I don't really know if this is something against their religion or not but I do hope to learn more about our fellow Muslim citizens living together with us in Singapore.
Anyway, on the hygiene perspective I think Pork and Fish should not be handled with the same knife and chopping board because of the chance of cross contamination.
I am sure many of you know that nobody can eat raw pork as it has many harmful bacteria and I think you will sure get food poisoning if you eat raw pork.
Fish on the other hand, some people like to eat it raw.
I do not know the email contact of Sheng Shiong, hopefully TRS can help me forward this to Sheng Shiong to ask for clarification?
