Dear The Real Singapore,

Yes, you heard me right. Go to hell, you bunch of spineless cowards. I am sick and tired of your groaning and moaning, without doing anything to fight the beast that is the PAP and the LEE dictatorship. Singaporeans your apathy makes me sick to the core.

I have a standard line for anybody who complains to me about the government. I will just ask the person 'Did you join the protest in Hong Lim Park?'. If the answer is no, then I say 'go fark yourself'. If you don't join the struggle, you have no right to complain. Period!!!

There are people out there sacrificing themselves daily, risking their future and their livelihoods, just to make Singapore a better place. We are clearly living under a dictatorship and if we don't come together quick, our lives are going to become a living hell and our children's future bleak. They are already bringing more foreigners and taking your jobs, under the guise of bringing more jobs for Singaporeans. Your children’s University places are being extended to foreigners. You can see it on the crowded trains, buses, shopping malls, the whole infrastructure has broken down. They do not care because, their only concern is holding on to power at all costs.

Look at JB Jeyaratnam, Chia Thye Poh, Lim Chin Siong, Chee Soon juan to name a few, who suffered at the hands of the brutal dictator Lee Kuan Yew. Doesn't it prick your conscience to stand up and join the fight against such brutality. We cannot continue to sit back and hope others will stand up for us.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out -- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out -- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out -- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

- Martin Niemoller

We have a new host of heroes in civil society who have stepped forward to fight for a better Singapore. Look at the pocket dynamo Han Hui Hui who took the government on and not succumbing to their threats. She proved to us something, that we would have never known. Which is the fact that, the government cannot sue citizens. Thanks to her, we now are more aware of our rights.
Look at the sacrifices of Vincent Wijeysingha who stands up for the meek and weak. Professor Leong Sze Hian and Roy Ngerng who tirelessly churn out figures to counter the government lies. Gilbert Goh who tirelessly champions the rights of Singapore workers. Leslie Chew who was arrested for his cartoons that show, he knows the problems of this country better than any of the 77 boot lickers in parliament, Tan Jee Say the presidential hopeful who makes the time to come down and speak at Hong Lim Park. Look at the efforts of civil society groups like MARUAH, TWC2, FUNCTION 8 etc. We have our pro people's voice in TR Emeritus, The REAL Singapore, The Online Citizen. The time is ripe to take back Singapore from the Dictatorship. We need to get the momentum going.
Roy spent 2 years exposing the ills of the government. He did not earn a single cent for his hard work and research, all done in the hope of improving the lives of Singaporeans. Is it so hard to show him support by turning up at Hong Lim park. His life is going to take a dramatic turn for the worse, for the sacrifice he has made. We need to stand by him in his hour of need.

Get rid of your apathy and wake up from your slumber and join the fight. As the protests at Hong Lim Park gains traction the world will sit up and fight with us. Last year was a pivotal point in our history when our protest were featured on CNN, BBC, Reuters, Al Jazeera. It shamed our government's fake squeky clean image.

There is nothing to be afraid. Last year we had 5000 at one protest. Did anyone get arrested. NO. Simply because we were excising our constitutional rights in a peaceful and just manner. If you are afraid to be seen just wear caps, sunglasses or any form of disguise, but please come together.

Please refrain from using foul language, shout abuse or create anarchy, as that is not the Singapore way. The numbers alone standing together as one united people will send a message to the dictatorship, that we want our Singapore back. A Singapore that cares for it’s people. Not a Singapore, where all policies are created to keep a dictator in power and feeds only the elites, cronies and their families.

Join the CPF protest - Saturday, 7th June 2014 - Hong Lim Park

In Steve Biko’s words – ‘The most powerful weapon in the hands of the oppressor, is the mind of the oppressed’.

Thank you for joining the fight.
