Most Indians From India Are Trained ‛To Game’ Their Own Corrupt System & Government
(Slang help: ‛To Game’ is used by the author to mean ‛to play along and take advantage of the depravity’)
This is a followup to the above article I shared where, as I expected, many Indians from India, esp. FTs, tried to hijack the points raised by claiming that it was not possible as most Indian new citizens had given up their citizenship and did not have voting rights back in India. Such arguments are untrue due to their flawed reasoning.
Disclaimer: BTW I have no ‛racist’ agenda as the article was written for my fellow Singaporeans to awaken them to reality, and not for Indian FTs or citizens from India as indicated by points and feedback shared by the very Indians themselves. Topic again is on Indian FTs in SG and Indian elections, not China-PRCs, Pinoys or other country elections.
The True Reality Of India (Hard Truths)
1. What they forgot to tell you is how they have been trained to game their country’s own corrupt system and government from young as corruption is widespread, from an ordinary peon (low-ranked worker) all the way to the top leaders of the country. (FACT)
Note: Do not jump to the defensive racist victim track yet, as this opinion is not from any outsider, or the World Bank, but by their very own Indian citizens and the local media. - Corruption is the No.1 problem.
2. Even after decades of democratic rule, the number one plaguing problem in India is corruption and ability by ordinary and rich Indians to game the system to benefit from corruption, money politics and more. Politicians and leaders have shown the way, so for the ordinary people this has become a way of life.
3. Indian FTs or new citizens/PRs here are fully aware of any such lapses and are well-learned to manage the gaps in their political or government systems for years to manipulate them to their advantage if needed.
It goes well for PMET Indian FTs as unlike the menial Indian workers, they are more educated and street smart to outplay the system than becoming victims – like not getting their salaries, etc.
How?
4. Interestingly, this was highlighted by Indian FTs themselves as one thing they are good at is boasting on their strengths and ability to outwit the systems (Indian and Singapore).
5. Indian FTs – citizens and PRs are only interested in the future of India and making it beneficial for their investments, home state, asset appreciation and more, benefiting when they return to their families there. Vice versa to bring out black money and invest abroad like in places like Singapore.
6. In order to do so, they need to get their choice of leaders or political party representatives to win elections – so they just need the ends but not the means how to get it done.
7. Many are able to vote in their respective states despite their not being able to vote if given up citizenship as that is all on paper and does not actually apply in their respective state systems.
8. They are still able to vote by going there and getting their votes in since the system can be manipulated – same system which allows people to game it for multiple/illegal votes as many had been found out over the years. This is still a worrying problem for India’s electorate/elections as such loopholes continue to exist despite all efforts to eradicate them.
9. So the Singapore based FT’s claim of not being able to vote is all eye-wash as they themselves are aware they can game their system and that is why most avoid the traditional embassy route to cast their votes – via the Indian Embassy in Singapore or other countries for PRs and FTs working on employment passes. In the Gulf countries, they are denied overseas votes or postal votes despite having 2 million voting Indians there.
I was told even Singapore-born Indians with properties or families in India, esp. older folks from previous generations (handful) can buy properties/land and even vote if they wanted to as the system can be gamed since there are no proper checks and corruption is plentiful. So what’s to stop new citizens from India here who know the system even more intimately?
10. So they go back to have their votes counted to make a difference for their target parties and states in the election as a win is paramount to them since this will affect theirs and their families’ future and investments over there. That is the End Result they are after.
11. My earlier article showed how Singapore-based FTs (incl. new citizens) have openly raised funds for Indian political parties like APP in Singapore and have Indian political gatherings with full attendance (which is illegal for foreigners to do so in Singapore). Another way to game the system is to help Indian political parties of their choice to win elections by funding them and ensuring their wins. So this vague reason of giving up Indian Citizenship amounts to nothing as they can do everything to push and make their parties win in India.
Note: It was even reported in Indian media that SG Embassy or High Comm was used as a stage to raise funds for Indian political parties right here in Singapore by Indian FTs/citizens. They can!

12. All new citizens are still fully able to invest, buy land/properties back in India despite giving up their citizenship as claimed so they have lost nothing in doing so since the Indian system allows it, I am told. With the right payments all can be done and processed and with extended families back in India they can have respective nominees and appointees named to keep the properties, etc for them until they return.
13. If they ever return home and give up Singapore citizenship, they are easily able to become Indian citizens again. The Indian system is can be gamed with the right “settlements” and internal processing which most FTs are familiar with. This applies to many Indian FTs/new citizens of Australia and other countries outside India too.
Reason: Well-informed Indian FTs know their India System. They are not victims nor stupid, but smarter than our foolish government.
BLACK MONEY - Singapore: another new top destination for Indians
14. It has become a way of life for years, which of course is seen one of the fundamental reasons why revolutionary political parties like APP (Am Aadmi) was formed – to fight corruption and even bring back ‘black money’ (undeclared money- to avoid taxes, etc) to India as most were stashed across India in Swiss banks and now even in Singapore.
Link:
15. Singapore has now become another new destination for Indian black money after Swiss banks, as the Singapore government and banks welcome them as legal and there is no accountability or checks & balances with the Indian government to prevent this outflow or laws for India to investigate and claim them back.
16. Note on above point – it is not drug money or laundered money as most Singapore banks claim it as part of wealth banking funds and balances by Indian investors based on on our welcoming programmes targeted at such investors. So their source is not important to to the banks. Nor will the banks reveal client/banking account info to Indian govt tax officers.

17. The sheer number of rising Indian wealth account openings and flow of huge amounts of Indian money into Singapore banks coincide with the huge inflow of Indian FTs – new citizens and PRs into Singapore by PAP’s open door policy for them.
Though not all come under this category as some are middle class people, many do and have brought in large amounts of black money into Singapore.
18. Many have bought up various Singapore private properties and now, through the welcoming schemes of the Singapore government, even resale HDB flats within our rules.
(Highlighted by Singaporeans that they have gathered in online forums openly as Indian FTs to discuss how to game even HDB’s new restrictive measures to control rental and purchase of HDB flats, etc as such is their mindset.)
19. Includes cars as they can afford the price tags of expensive cars with very high COEs since they have the inflowing funds from India; another topic raised with my Indian friends.
20. Many have wondered how they can afford such expensive purchases when they come here as FTs to work in PMET jobs while the cost of living is still high in Singapore. But their ability to move funds into Singapore undeclared and from other sources allows them to live it up here. Note many do not need bank loans and can even fork up the purchase of these assets upfront just like the PRCs.
21. Note: NOT An imagined fable as most Indian FTs and citizens settled in my neighbourhood have purchased cars upfront without loans like the person who enlightened me on this topic in my neighbourhood. They love to boast and enlighten us further.
22. Someone should do a proper survey and study on the number of FTs/new citizens by countries of origin and car ownership, newly-purchased with bank loans or not. Results can be an eye-opener for Singaporeans.
23. Singaporeans are struggling to make ends meet and to keep their vulnerable PMET jobs if they still have one against the cheaper “talented” FTs, Young graduates struggle to start in a PMET job which never comes and continue to be trapped in overcrowded public transport, thanks to our government who created this situation.
Note: Black money has become part of the top issues in Indian elections by most political parties from AAP, which have made it a top issue and others – BJP to find a way to bring back all black money hoarded and stashed abroad in Swiss banks and now in Singapore.
Singapore
Qn: If asked, will the Singapore Govt allow the Indian govt to claim on illegal monies deposited by Indians in Singapore or will they use lack of legal provisions or their own confidentiality clauses to prevent this? Or do they want the monies in Singapore which they have made it so easy for FTs and Indians to bring into our banks and funds?
- FACT: Indian FTs are not victims here, be they citizens no PRs, as they know how to game their own country’s system. But the sad part is our foolish Singapore government helping them to game our system by their own greed.
- Government’s greed for vote replacement (new citizens) to keep power at all costs, will keep GDP up with cheaper Indian FT inflow at the expense of Singaporeans losing PMET jobs and other related cost of living impacts in public and private transportation, housing and more.
- The above FTs – new citizens or PRs – from India are not the culprits nor are they to be blamed as economic migrants and opportunists like most others. Their years of living in a corrupted system and environment make it easier for them to be shrewd and to milk the loopholes.
- But the SG Govt is guilty of making it easy for these people to take jobs, replace our own talents, game our systems and return home to India, while we have to stay, defend our home and suffer.
At the end of the day, fellow Singaporeans are the only ones losing and suffering…. so wake up people!
