Dear The Real Singapore,
I am one of the Certis Cisco officer shown in the recent viral article here: [VIDEO] 2 CISCO OFFICER ABUSING THEIR AUTHORITY AND HARASSING ME WHILE I WAS FISHING
I believe that I should have handled the situation better but I feel like I have been framed and misled by the boy who is recording the video. I understand that my lack of command of good english have causes me to sound rude and that I am sorry for what happened.
However, I would like to state out that there is strictly a no fishing policy at the Bedok Reservouir.
Please refer to the attached photograph I have taken:
My job as a Park Ranger working for certis cisco is to ensure no one breaks any of the 6 forbiddon activity in the reservouir area. I have also taken the video of the 16 year old boy and his friends fishing at Bedok Reservouir again this morning. Me and the other park rangers have already told him many times not to fish. A few of my colleagues have already encountered and spotted him fishing in the reservoir numerous times on many occassions already.
See video:
This is why I am so angry the other day. I deeply apologize but I hope the public will know the truth.
Lastly, I would like to thank The Real Singapore for allowing me to share my side of the story and I hope Singaporeans will understand what I am doing.
I just want to protect my Bedok Reservoir.
Sincerely,
CERTIS CISCO OFFICER
