The assault on Singaporean students continue. So much has been said about the injustice of Singaporeans serving NS, paying ever increasing tertiary fees while foreign students receive scholarships cum living allowance on a platter. To add insult to injury, virtually all foreign scholarship holders harbour or express anti-Singapore sentiment.
The heart-breaking fee increases for Singapore students in taxpayers-funded universities, polytechnics and ITEs.
Some Singapore undergrads have to sleep on the floor while foreign students get to sleep on the bed in the dormitories.
The fact is all these are unnecessary. The amount spent on foreign scholarship cum living allowance is enough to pay for Singaporeans enrolled in our tertiary institutions or at least drastically reduce the fees.
If you have parents or other family members who still want to vote for the ruling party in the next GE, kneel in front of them and beg them to save our fellow Singaporeans.
