My friend sent me a letter which he received from the CPF Board.
Defer CPF withdrawal – get bonus?
The letter encourages him to defer the starting date of his monthly withdrawals from the original age 63 by 2 years to 65.
For example, if he defers for 2 years until age 65 – he will get a voluntary deferment bonus of $1,200.
Would you delay the withdrawal of your CPF to get the bonus?
When did this start?
Does anyone know when did the CPF Board start to send these letters to CPF members?
