Recently, an SPH article blasts Singaporeans for their vicious attack on Anton Casey as going too far. Click on

If you have gone to National Library Board, NLB is also doing a campaign to help Singaporeans differentiate between fact, fiction. Click on and attached.

PAP also has a "Factually" devoted to combat and correct online rumours. Click on http://www.gov.sg/government/web/content/govsg/classic/factually

Many pro PAP people, PAP politicians and stats boards have gone to combat online vigilantes for being vicious. But in my humble opinion, I think it's all due to PAP's fault and we should never apologise for spreading hatred and myth to get more swing voters to vote against PAP.

Here's some reasons why we will never apologise

1) 40% voted against PAP but we only have 8 elected MPs from the opposition to fight for us. We have seen how countries have erupted in protest and riots when their voices are not heard in Parliament. We have seen how PAP tries to fix opposition candidates through lawsuits, and the GRC system and gerrymandering. Many Singaporeans are becoming online vigilantes is also an indirect consequence of our flawed process.

2) Factually, as long as our lives continue to deteriorate and our PAP ministers enjoy their million dollar salaries, we Singaporeans don't even care if that's the truth or not and just have this pathological need to spread vile words online. Many govt bodies love to defend their policies and hardly apologise for lapses.

We Singaporeans will disregard the facts and will commit online vigilantes simply because we don't see our lives improving while our million dollar salaried ministers continue to enjoy theirs.

3) Unlawful assembly. Anyone with five or more people can be considered 'unlawful assembly'

Unlawful assembly – An assembly of five or more persons is an "unlawful assembly" if the common object of the persons composing that assembly is —

(a) to overawe by criminal force, or show of criminal force, the Legislative or Executive Government, or any public servant in the exercise of the lawful power of such public servant;

(b) to resist the execution of any law, or of any legal process;

(c) to commit any mischief or criminal trespass, or other offence;

This ridiculous Act only serves to make us spread more hatred online towards PAP.

4) SPH and Mediacorp. We just can't get our stories printed out. There is a limited editorial space in the press and editors just throw out letters if they think it's not newsworthy.

If there's too many spelling errors, the editor may also throw it out.
