Dear The Real Singapore,
A friend of mine has been job hunting for the past 2 months and told me that 8 out of 10 recruitment agencies which contacted him:
1. The staff was a FT, mostly Indian nationals and PRCs
2. Showed lack of sincerity in listening when they met up
3. Recommended lower paying roles and roles not of his expertise
4. Lacked working experience in Singapore (at least 3 just graduated from SMU or SIM and merely 6 months or less into the job
5. Made low blow offers not in sync with market rates or experiences/academics
Makes me feel the roles are being reserved despite the ads being open to all or state priority towards Singaporeans.
What's happening to this country?
Has anyone else faced such situations? Please share.
