Dear The Real Singapore,
I wonder why there is double standard for Singaporeans and Foreigners.
Is it easy for the police to arrest people based on phone calls than monitoring Internet such as online video, however, focus on Singaporeans instead of Foreigners?
Case 1 - by phone call (Singaporean driver being angered by heavy traffic in Woodlands Checkpoint)
Singaporean was arrested for threatening Woodland Checkpoint with a bomb. Refer to http://therealsingapore.com/content/singaporean-arrested-being-unhappy-congestion-causeway
Case 2 - by online video (foreigner staying in Singapore made sedition against Singaporeans)
An Indonesian foreigner in Singapore was NOT arrested for threatening Marina Bay Sands with a bomb. Refer to http://therealsingapore.com/content/indonesia-ft-insults-singaporeans-online-and-threatens-blow-marina-bay-sands
Case 1 is less amplified by Internet before arrest of Singaporean was announced. After announcement, it was more amplified by Internet.
Case 2 is more amplified by Internet but arrest of the foreigner was not done. Right now, he is still free.
Regards,
Jeremiah
