1) Regardless of whether you failed one or all stations, you still have to complete the same 20 sessions. There is no incentive to work for other stations if you cannot pass one.
2) The 20 sessions are compressed into 12 weeks which is unreasonable for people with other work and family commitments. Even for 8 sessions, this would entail buring almost all weekends.
3) The sessions start at 6pm, which means most people have to leave work early and thus disrupt their career for the sake of RT a few times a week.
4) There are only 4 locations which you can do your RT, despite having many military camps around. For someone living in Serangoon, the nearest camp is an hour away by public transport.
5) How can a reservist force be expected to maintain the same fitness standard as a professional full-time force? Worse, the pay is a mere $9.27 for each session, which does not even cover transport and a basic isotonic drink for some people.
What we suggest is to adopt a tiered-system which takes the cumulative scores for each of the 5 station rather than expect everyone to be a jack of all trades.
That way, more people will pass while still remainig fit without having to be penalised because of one station.
