Dear Mr Shanmugam,
Singaporeans have noted that you are the first minister to comment on Anton Casey, albeit a little late. Since his words have caused widespread outrage among us, to the point of receiving death threats (in his own words), I humbly request for your help in persuading your Cabinet colleague to revoke his re-entry permit and deport him to where he rightfully belongs.
Your honour, I'm not asking you to strip his wife and son of their Singapore citizenship. Only the bigot's PR.
If there's so much reluctance and difficulty among the powers that be to revoke a foreigner's PR after so much damage is done, then we have to think whether it is wise to dish out
30 000 PRs a year. I hope you can help to meet our expectations just for once. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Our egalitarian society is already a thing of the past before this bigot appeared on the scene. Anton Casey is the last thing we want to live among us. If nothing is done, then I must conclude, Sir, that words are cheap.
