The ruling party PAP is causing so much of problems now to the people on the street. Poor and average citizens of Singapore were entrenched in bewilderment putting them in absolute confusion resulting from many policies of the Government hurting the people directly. In the early rule of the PAP the party conform to their dedicated motto enshrine on the party logo that says the party is for the people as indicated in PAP flags as that of the so-called “Peoples’ Action Party” for the people, with the people and to the people doctrine. And the people of those days have been assured of better governance when they took into power after winning the first general election in 1959. The party proven their promise by doing a lot of things that benefited the people at large. Lives of the citizens were look after with the poor and the average citizens could lead a decent living.

After more then fifty years the tone of the party has drastically change with the one that put the poor and the average citizens in a quandary and sickening quagmire burying many under a terrible mud. Many were struggling to get out of that deep mud that centered on a fragile and slippery quicksand that is not easy for the poor to escape. Fast forward, in the last twenty years to the present time the PAP has change their political doctrine to one that are money centric philosophies that carry a materialism mentally. The Government are in complete obsession, to build up a nation, for them is merely based on the well-being of wealth and nothing else. So these was the reason why targeting for higher GDP’s year in year out to enable to enjoy big fat pay within people in power and the cronies.

Many policies were design to make the rich become richer and the poor become poorer. The design of the economic development in the country sound more favourable to big players like multi corporations and multi million investors. These corporations were given special tax rebates in order to lure them into investment in the country. No doubt it is
good for the country economic growth with healthy investment the problem is that the fruits of the wealth is not fairly distributed, only the elites and the rich is truly enjoying it. The average citizens is left with no improvement in their financial well-being with most remain with a dormant stagnant income for years.

To make matters worst, the poor income earners are facing with the sickening Government open door policies to aliens crowding the job market in the country. These foreign trash was given leeway to be employed at the expense of the local citizens. We could see across the board in many sectors especially private entrepreneurs and even public sectors employed foreigners in their establishment. So this is a sickly policy that has got to be stop immediately.

There are many issues urgently need to be address like in education, health, transport and housing. All these were fundamental to the well-being of citizens. Take for instance transport matters that is affecting many average Singaporeans who needs transport of their own be it for personal use, or commercial vehicles for small time businesses. Some need it out of necessity but not a luxury. Likewise, businesses on small and medium scale is also badly affected with the madly mammoth COE’s charges for cars and commercial vehicles who are under two tons and cars below the 1600cc.

The present COE regulatory is found to be impractical. For private cars the life span of ten years are not logic at all. A COE of almost eighty percent the price of a car of below 1600cc and commercial vehicles of under two tons is really madness to be bear by the average consumers. For cars life span is more practical to be increase from the present ten years to let say fifteen or better still at twenty years. We would think this is possible because Singapore is a city state unlike other countries with large geographical land area spanning thousands of kilometers of road length that would easily affect the vehicles road worthiness due to high usage on the road that would shorten the life span of a vehicle. Singapore is a very small place with a few kilometers of road network. Most vehicles in Singapore were put to death at a very young age.
