1.Can Singapore Government and the police explain how come Johor Barisan Gelang Patah Barisan Election Candidate and Caretaker Johor Chief Minister Abdul Ghani Othman can come to Singapore and campaign for his Election by wooing m’sian workers working in Singapore?
This was shown live on Channel News Asia and all media and he even gave some interview on some plans and coverage covered him talking to M’sian Voters in Singapore Bus Interchange.
2.Interesting question on everyone’s mind is Did Mr Abdul Ghani apply for any police permit to carry out his election campaign in Singapore?
#Quote CNA’s news below:
SINGAPORE- Plans for Johor-S’pore rapid transit system in final stages: Abdul Ghani
“Meanwhile, outgoing Johor Chief Minister Abdul Ghani Othman on Thursday took his electoral fight to Singapore – by taking a bus down to meet factory workers in the Republic.
Mr Abdul Ghani travelled by bus from Gelang Patah in Johor to Jurong East bus interchange in Singapore.”
It was his first time travelling on the Causeway Link bus and he noted that the journey took more than an hour.

3. So Singaporeans are to conclude that Malaysian Politicians are allowed to campaign for their voters in Singapore?
4. So we can assume tomorrow DAP’s Lim Kit Siang will follow suit and campaign for DAP in Singapore too like Barisan’s Ghani.
Quote ST Article:”Lim Kit Siang says he may meet Malaysians in Singapore like Abdul Ghani”
#Quote DAP Lim Kit Siang from article:
“But Mr Lim also said by doing so, he would likely be labelled an agent of the city-state’s government.”
“If I go there, I’ll be accused of being a stooge to the Singapore government.”
#Quote fm Singapore police from article:
On Thursday, a Singapore Police spokesman said: “Under our laws, no one is allowed to publicise a cause or campaign, or demonstrate support for or opposition to any persons or government without a Police permit.”
Mr Abdul Ghani took a bus on Thursday morning to Singapore to experience what it was like for Malaysians who travel daily to the city state, and to canvass for votes.
Everyone’s target is the about 400,000 of some one million Malaysians living overseas are in Singapore, with many among them Johoreans.
5. In the first place Singapore Government and police should not be seen bias and allowing the ruling politician and CM of Johor to come and meet M’sians in Singapore and campaign for votes. And he came with full media and even Singapore’s CNA in full entourage with media coverage. That was most certainly wrong.
They have opened the Pandora’s box and will be perceived taking sides which is not right. Why is Singapore promoting M’sian Politics and Campaigning when it is not supposed to respecting M’sians and their voting decisions for this GE2013.
6.Note some weeks earlier the police investigated some M’sians who were lobbying for M’sians working in Singapore to go back and vote for this election.

7. Will Singapore Government and Police like it if Malaysian media and M’sians comment, promote, assist in Singapore’s Future Elections say in GE2016 taking sides with a certain party?
8.How About Singapore Politicians (Any Party ) going to M’sia to meet those working or doing business in M’sia and campaign? (Though smaller than the 400,000 of M’sians in Singapore).
9. Important we respect our own laws and show we stay neutral and not perceived as supporting any political party of M’sia as that is for the decision of M’sians and M’sians only.
10. No M’sian Politician should be coming to Singapore to campaign or seek votes as Barisan Abdul Ghani did and our law representatives, government and worst media seen to have allowed it.
Can we have an explanation as Singaporeans are curious on this case as well as M’sians?
