LKY: Mandela an ‘inspiration to an entire generation’ and LHL: You inspired millions with humanity, courage and life long fight for freedom.
I almost fainted from chair reading these condolences. What did Mandela inspired him? Freedom???? Humanity??? Secondly, most their policies and actions don’t really seem to be in line with what Mandela is preaching.
Quote a few examples:
1. Against wide public anger and negative sentiments, they still bulldoze and went ahead to agree on 6.9M.
2. They said Singapore should only have PAP as dominant party and voting opposition will send this country into chaos???
3. Law suits against so many bloggers and curbing internet freedom.
These are only a few samples from a few hundred. Isn’t their policies total irony of what Mandela is symbolizing or preaching???
How could they write these condolences without twitching their eyes or skip a few heart beats?
