While in the bus, frequently I see, poor families having 3 children and a pregnant wife. The kids malnourished wearing old clothing. I wonder, how could they upkeep the families. With my friends, Oh! yeh, the baby bonus. They are having a family just to have the money. $6,000 and the third and fourth child $8,000.
I am living in Macpherson estate, one of the poorest estate, you can see teenagers peddles illegal cigarettes and children sleeping below the decks. This is a sorry state of affairs. Are the government responsible for this sorry state of affairs?
I believed so. Most of these new baby’s bonus children will end up in prison. To be frank, I just hate my parents for having so many children, like cattle, so that a cash cow for them, instead of giving close attentions, affections and reasonable educations. When I took my A level in night classes, only 2 of us passed. Morning I gave tuition, to sponsor my education and my family.
Because of my past experiences, I feel sad for these kids. My brother just recently passed away at the age of 62, heavy addiction to hard liquor. Join gang member at an early age. It is my parents’ faults that put him into
his early grave.
PAP MPs are just as ineffective. I do not blame them as they to want to take care of their own rice bowls at the expense of the welfare of the citizens.
My brother’s sad ending is a reminder to PAP, that you are causing miseries to these children that are going to be born.
